About Video West:  An Introduction

We are an extension of our clients.  Our job is to work with you, your teams, and your processes to enhance your vision.  Through creative collaboration, we deliver exactly what is requested to maximize the audience experience.  This is true through the entire lifecycle of your event from planning, through execution, to reconciliation, on time and on budget.

Started in 1982 on a foundation that video would arguably become the most important and dynamic aspect of the live event, Video West continues to be at the forefront of all live event technology.  This dedicated drive has evolved to include intelligent lighting and concert-quality digital sound solutions.  We provide the tools and support for events from ten to ten thousand with the same level of importance and attention-to-detail.

The live event happens only once.  Whether you are the president of a company, a world leader, or a national performing artist, everything must synchronize perfectly at precisely the right moment.  We execute flawless events by providing exceptional detail that is based on physical, time, and communication parameters.  We provide fail-safe equipment solutions and the engineers and production staff with the empowered engagement to make the right decision at the right time.

A History

Video West was founded in 1982 with a good idea and a credit card. The company originally started out in Tucson, Arizona before relocating to the Phoenix area the following year. In 2016, we built a brand new 40,000 square foot warehouse to support our events across the globe.

In 2025, we proudly became part of ON Services, a nationally recognized leader in live event production. This strategic partnership strengthens our ability to deliver exceptional experiences by combining our creative expertise, technical excellence, and expanded locations across the United States. With a significantly enhanced creative department and greater national reach, we continue to provide innovative audiovisual solutions that elevate events of all sizes. Under the continued leadership of President Jack Waitkus and COO Aaron Feller, we remain committed to delivering outstanding service, creativity, and flawless execution for every client we serve.

We pride ourselves on providing the best live-event technology in the world and the support to go along with that technology. Video West provides video, audio, lighting, and staging in all its forms as well as producers, project managers, technicians, and logistics to support these services on events from 10 to 10,000 attendees.

We are not a hotel AV company or AV installer and are therefore not in-house at any locations. We do one thing really well: providing client-direct production and audiovisual services for our live events community. We believe we are an extension of the customer and indoctrinate our staff on the principles and beliefs of the companies, institutions, and organizations we represent. We believe our staff should be as ready as yours is to direct someone to registration, answer basic questions about the event, and above all, provide top-level AV solutions with complete transparency.

Achievements

2025 ON Services acquires Video West the acquisition brings together two organizations with a shared passion for technical excellence, innovative production solutions, and client-focused service. 
2019 Introduction of Aluvision Product Line
to incorporate seamlessly with our beMatrix modular structures.  Ultra-thin LED panels in 2.8mm pitch designed to fit into trade show booths and scenic elements for any event.
2017 Entertainment Support means expanding our audio department to include complete L'Acoustics line of products supporting Sturgis Buffalo Chip, North Dakota State Fair and an ever-expanding slate of national acts.
2016   7th Global Entrepreneurship Summit.  From global leaders Barack Obama and David Cameron to entrepreneurs like Mark Zuckerberg Video West was proud to partner once again on this international event previously held in Nairobi, Kenya.
2016   Video West Relocates into new headquarters at 1050 N 52nd Street, Phoenix, AZ.  Improvements include a additional loading bays, green initiatives, and 40,000 square feet of warehouse/office space including a 2,000 square foot state-of-the-art demo room.
2015   Pope Francis Visit is supported by Video West production teams for the events at the Cathedral Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul as well as the Festival of Families.
2015    Super Bowl XLIX takes place in Arizona and Video West Inc. supports several events throughout the city from Super Bowl Central to the NFL Experience and many more ancillary events
2014     Clinton Global Initiative University held at ASU.  Video West provides full production.
2013     Los Angeles Auto Show 2XD Partners with Video West Inc. for the reveal of Porsche's new Macan featuring our brand new Barco C5 Tile
2012    NATO (North Atlantic Treaty Organization) Summit works in partnership with Showcall USA and Video West Inc. for host TV support
2011    APEC (Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation) Summit works in partnership with Showcall USA and Video West Inc. for multi-city international event
2008    G20 World Financial Summit works in partnership with Showcall USA and Video West Inc. as their technical team
2007    NBA All-Star Game uses Video West Inc. for audio support and engineering
2002    Detroit Auto Show debuts first serpentine projection screen designed and engineered by Video West Inc.
2000    First fully digital video production Fly Pack System designed by Video West
1994    Pope John Paul II Visit to St. Louis supported by Video West projection
